This handbook is intended to help you understand the role of policing in Edmonton, provide you with information on how to access police services, and explain what to expect if you are approached by the police. It will also explain the rights and responsibilities of both community members and the police. This is a special partnership between the EPS, Edmonton Police Foundation, Alliance Jeunesse-Famille de l'Alberta Society, The Family Centre, Government of Canada and the Translation Bureau of Canada.
